Biography

Senior (2024-2025): Competed in 26 rounds with 1,915 total strokes (73.65 avg) … Recorded low rounds of 68 at the Leadership & Golf Invitational and Rainbow Wahine … Logged 2 top-10 finishes, including 1 top-5.

Junior (2023-2024): Saw action in nine of the ten events this season… Finished tied for first place, with a +3 score after three rounds, at the Utah Tech Trailblazer Invitational… Shot a season-best -5 across three rounds at the Rainbow Wahine Invitational, which earned fifth place at the event… Had her best round of the season on the opening day of the Coeur d’Alene Collegiate Invitational, shooting 68 for the day… Finished the season by placing seventh at the WCC Championships, finishing with a +7 score across the three days of action… Had two top-five finishes and four top-ten finishes this year.

Sophomore (2022-2023): Appeared in 7 out of 9 events throughout the season… She, alongside Cassie Kim, led the Bulldogs to a first-place finish in the Pat Lesser- Harbottle SeattleU Invitational at the Tacoma Country Club by finishing in 6th place at +1 with her best score coming in the second round with a 70… She placed 10th at the WCC Championships with a +4 with her best round coming in the final round with a 72… Her average score this season was 76.00 with a +4 relative to par in 7 events in 21 rounds.

2021-22 (Freshman): Baek appeared in all 10 events. She came in first for her team in the Hobble Creek Fall Classic, finishing in fifth place in the event with her best score coming in the first round at 70 with an overall +1 for all three rounds at this event. Her average score this season was 76.41 with a +5 relative to par in 10 events in 29 rounds.

PRIOR TO GONZAGA: Baek hails from Langley, B.C., graduating this spring from R.E. Mountain Secondary. A five-time IMG Junior World Championship qualifier, was the champion at the 2019 AJGA Open at Sugarloaf and second at the 2018 AJGA Open at Big Sky tournament. Baek carried a 3.7 GPA and is planning on studying business administration at GU.
