Biography
Junior (2022-2023): Injured.
2021-22 (Sophomore): Montemayor had a collegiate career best at the Coeur d’ Alene Collegiate finishing in the top-5 with her best score out of three rounds being a 72 in the first round. In the Pat Lesser-Harbottle Invitational, Montemayor finished in the top-5 for her team assisting the women’s team to fourth place. She appeared in seven events and 18 rounds total. As a sophomore at Gonzaga this last season, Montemayor holds a current career average of 79.06 ... honorable mention Academic All-Conference.
Prior to Gonzaga: Played golf all four years of high school and was the girl’s Golf team captain…. was ranked 78th in high school…was first team all-league for three years… was second team all CIF for two years…took second in the 2018 CIF tournament…won the 2018 Mesa League Individual… won coaches pick sportsmanship award in 2018… has been a CFS member since 2016… was involved in National Honors Society…. was a science academy member ... tied for 10th at the Aaron Baddeley International Junior Championship in 2020 ... she won the 2015 Mexico National Interzonas and the San Diego City Jr. Amateur ... she was second at the FCG World Series Las Vegas Invitational in 2016 ... was fifth at the 2016 FCG World Championship.
Personal: Daughter of Ricardo and Cynthia Montemayor… majoring in business administration… chose Gonzaga because it made her “feel like I belonged and that I was at home”.
