Calling All Gonzaga Baseball Alumni

SPOKANE, Wash. - Calling all baseball alumni.
Gonzaga University head coach Steve Hertz and his staff want to hear from you. Plans are underway for the annual Baseball Alumni Weekend Oct. 13-14, and the baseball office is trying to update its database of Zag baseball players.
"We need updated addresses and telephone numbers of our alumni," Hertz said. "Obviously, we've lost touch with some individuals as they have moved in recent years. We're trying to build a complete database of baseball alumni. If alumni haven't redceived a mailing from us in the past year or two, it means they have probably moved and we haven't received a forwarding address. Those are the people we need to hear from."

This year's Alumni Weekend begins with batting practice on Oct. 13, and the annual Alumni Game on Oct. 14.
"This is a weekend we always look forward to," Hertz said. "It's a special time for our young players to get to know the alumni who have played such a huge role in the tradition of not only Zag baseball, but Gonzaga University in general."
