SPOKANE, Washington- Gonzaga Baseball is set to take on 18 league games in the Pac-12 conference for the 2027 season. The Zags will take on six weekend series, with three weekend matchups to be played at Patterson Baseball Complex.
Gonzaga Baseball returns to the Pac-12 for the first time in three decades after originally playing in the Pac-10 North Division from 1982 to 1995. The new Pac-12 has the sixth best average RPI of any baseball conference over the past five years, immediately establishing itself as one of the most competitive conferences in collegiate baseball.
The Zags will open Pac-12 play on the road at Texas State on April 9th through April 11th. GU will host their first Pac-12 home matches on April 16th through April 18th when they host Fresno State. Gonzaga will remain in Spokane to host Oregon State the following weekend from April 23rd through April 25th.
Gonzaga then travels to Pullman to take on Washington State from April 30th to May 2nd. The Zags swept Washington State in all three meetings last season, winning by a combined score of 45-21. GU will close out the conference regular season with a weekend at San Diego State on May 20th through May 22nd. San Diego State is the only team in the new Pac-12 that Gonzaga has not faced under head coach Mark Machtolf.
The Pac-12 Conference tournament will be held at Oregon State from May 27th through May 30th. Gonzaga's full nonconference schedule will be released soon, with all schedule updates to be published on GoZags.com
