GU-Whitworth Baseball Game Rescheduled

SPOKANE, Wash. - Gonzaga University's baseball game against Whitworth College originally scheduled for Thursday, March 15, has been rescheduled for Wednesday, March 21. First pitch for the game will be at 2:00 p.m.

"In order to help fan attendance at our game and not conflict with Gonzaga's appearance in the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, we thought it was in everyone's best interest to move the game to an alternate date," stated Gonzaga head baseball coach Steve Hertz.

The rescheduled game will now kick off a five-game Gonzaga home stand that will run from March 21-27. The Zags open West Coast Conference play this weekend with a three game series at Loyola Marymount University.
