Moraga, Calif. - The Saint Mary's men's tennis team (6-7) defeated the Gonzaga University Bulldogs 6-1 Monday afternoon at the Timothy Korth Tennis Complex.

The Gaels opened the match with a strong start in doubles play. Saint Mary's swept through the doubles winning the matches 8-2, 8-1 and 8-2 respectively.

Gonzaga's No. 4 player Alex McBarnet defeated J.J. Whitlinger in three sets 5-7, 6-4, 6-3.
