SPOKANE, Wash. - Gonzaga University's Kate Siddell finished third, Carrie DeGree took seventh and Erin Picht finished in a tie for eighth to help lead the Bulldogs to a runnerup finish in the Inland Empire Women's Intercollegiate Golf Tournament that concluded Tuesday at Downriver Golf Course.
Siddell fired a final-round 76 over the 5,881-yard, par-72 layout for a 54-hole total 227. DeGree finished with an 80 for a three-round score of 231, and Picht came in with a 77 for a 232 to knot the University of Montana's Margarter Pierose.
Sarah Walter finished with a 2-under-par 214 for medalist honors in leading Eastern Washington University to the team title with a 910. Gonzaga shot 931 for a 4-stroke advantage over the University of Portland for second place.
