Bulldogs Rajsich Signs With Independent League

SPOKANE, Wash. - Gonzaga University senior infielder Kyle Rajsich has signed with the Yuma-Sutter Gold Sox of the Western League of Independent Baseball. Rajsich served as the Bulldogs top pinch-hitter the last two seasons after starting his collegiate career at the University of Louisville. Rajsich finished his Gonzaga career with a .226 average in 49 games played. During pinch-hitter appearances at Rajsich was 9-for-27 (.333) with six RBI and six walks.
In other Gonzaga baseball news, senior first baseman Nate Gold signed with the Texas Rangers and will report to the Rookie Level Pulaski Rangers of the Appalachian League on Tuesday afternoon.
