VILNIUS, Lithuania - Gonzaga University sophomore Ronny Turiaf scored 15 points and grabbed 12 rebounds Friday to help France defeat Slovania 83-74 in the quarterfinals of the European Championships U20.

France will meet Greece, an 81-80 victor over Croatia, in one Saturday semifinal and a berth in Sunday's title game.

After a 38-38 halftime tie, France trailed by one entering the final quarter before going on a 28-16 final-quarter run for the victory.

Turiaf is averaging 16 points and 11 rebounds in the championships.
