SPOKANE, Wash. - Gonzaga University men's golf coach Robert Gray has announced the signing of Reyn Tanaka to play for the Bulldogs starting in the 2004-05 school year. Tanaka, a resident of Manoa, Hawaii, currently attends Mid-Pacific Institute. He posted a 71.8 scoring average during the 2002-03 season and was a first-team All-Interscholastic League of Honolulu selection. Tanaka is a four-time Junior World Qualifier with two AJGA Top 15 finishes including a Top 15 finish at the Preseason Junior AJGA Championships held in Spokane. At the age of 14 Tanaka qualified for the Westfield PGA Junior Championship Aloha Section.
