Annie Hawkins Named To NSCAA All-West Region Team

SPOKANE, Wash. - Gonzaga University junior forward Annie Hawkins has been named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-West Region Third Team after the Salt Lake City, Utah native, helped guide the Bulldogs to their most successful soccer season to date. Hawkins earned the honor after leading Gonzaga with 13 goals scored matching the school record set by Sara Streufert. Hawkins also added four assists on the season to finish with 30 points and earn first-team All-West Coast Conference honors. She becomes only the second Gonzaga soccer player to earn NSCAA All-West honors joining Streufert who made the All-West Region team in 2000. Gonzaga finished the soccer season with an 11-8-0 record, 3-4-0 in the WCC.
