SPOKANE, Wash. - The West Coast Conference baseball game between Gonzaga University and Loyola Marymount University scheduled for Friday afternoon has been rained out due to inclement weather in Spokane. The two teams will look to start their three-game series on Saturday afternoon with a doubleheader starting at noon at Avista Stadium. The series will then wrap up with a single game at noon on Sunday. This will be the final action of the 2004 season for Gonzaga with sophomore catcher Kiel Thibault needing just four hits to tie Larry Patterson's school record for hits in a season with 91 set in 1977. LMU will host the WCC Playoff next weekend against the winner of the WCC West Division.
