Zags Lose Dogfight, 6-1

FRESNO, Calif. - The Gonzaga University women's tennis team was defeated by Fresno State University 6-1 Friday afternoon.

The Bulldogs lone singles win on the afternoon came in the No. 6 singles spot when sophomore Kimberly Aigner downed Fresno State's Natalie Garcia in straight sets, 6-4, 6-2.

The Zags picked up one win in doubles play when Sydney Lederhouse and Erin Humphrey defeated Jacqui Haskett and Natalie Garcia,8-3.

Gonzaga will be back in action on Mar. 19 as they host the University of Idaho in a 1 p.m. match.
