March 25, 2005

BOISE, Idaho - The Gonzaga University men's tennis team lost to Bradley University 4-2 at the Boise State Red Lion Spring Break Tournament Friday afternoon.

GU's first win of the day came in the No. 3 singles spot as Brett Womack defeated Mark Muskievicz in straight sets, 6-4, 6-2. Freshman Marco Pineda gave the Bulldogs its second point of the day with his 7-5, 3-6, 10-7 win over Alex Roby in the No. 6 spot.

The singles matches were played first, and with Bradley taking a 4-2 advantage in those matches. The doubles matches were not played as the outcome of those matches would have not effected the overall outcome of the match.
