Rain Washes Out Baseball

SPOKANE, Wash. - Game three of the three-game West Coast Conference series between the Gonzaga University baseball team and Loyola Marymount University has been cancelled due to rain in the Spokane area on Saturday afternoon.
Both teams arrived at the stadium and took batting practice on schedule, but the rain came about 45 minutes prior to the scheduled game time. LMU and Gonzaga called the game at 1:30 p.m.
The reschedule date has not yet been announced.
The Bulldogs will return to action on Tues. as they head to Pullman, Wash. for a 6:00 p.m. game against Pacific Northwest rival Washington State University.
