Boise State Blanks Gonzaga

BOISE, Idaho - The Boise State University women's tennis team won every match against Gonzaga University as the Bulldogs were defeated, 7-0, on Saturday afternoon. The women dropped to 6-11 on the season.

The Bulldogs were swept in the doubles matches, and faired no better in singles play. Junior Kendall Bates however put up a good fight in the No. 2 singles match as she started off on the right note defeating Megan Biorkman 6-2 in the first set. Biorkman then came back in the second set with a 6-2 win of her own and took the match with a 10-2 win in the third and deciding set.

The Bulldog women will be back in action on Sunday as they square off against Montana State University in a 9:30 a.m. match in Boise, Idaho.
