EUGENE, Ore. - Gonzaga University had Roman Dojcak and Scott Sullivan each post singles victories in a 5-2 non-conference loss to the University of Oregon Saturday.
The Bulldogs (2-4) battle hard but dropped the doubles point to the Ducks (8-1). In singles play it was Dojcak who won for the second straight day, posting an impressive 6-1, 7-5 victory at No. 3. Sullivan later held on for a three-set victory at No. 4 singles 6-4, 3-6, 10-7.
Gonzaga wraps up its three-match road trip Sunday with a match against University of Montana in Portland, Ore.
