CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. - Gonzaga University junior Jessica Howe has been named to the National Golf Coaches Association Division I All-American Scholar Team, one of 566 women's collegiate golfers in Division I, II and III recognized with this prestigious honor.
The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50.
Howe, from Poway, Calif., carries a 3.73 GPA in business. She was named to the West Coast Conference Spring All-Academic Women's Golf Team and to the WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll earlier this week.
Howe finished 13th in the WCC Golf Championship this past season and earned WCC honorable mention accolades. Gonzaga finished second for its best finish in its WCC history and snapping a 14-year stronghold Pepperdine University and the University of San Francisco had held on the top two spots.
