NO. 11 SEED: The Gonzaga University women's basketball team is making its fifth appearance in the NCAA Tournament, fourth-straight, and second as a No. 11 seed. The Bulldogs were previously a No. 11 seed in 2011, No. 12 seeds in both 2007 and 2009 and had a No. 7 seed in 2010.

The No. 11 seed Bulldogs upset No. 6 seed University of Iowa 92-86 in the first round and then knocked off No. 3 UCLA 89-75 to reach the Sweet Sixteen for the second consecutive season. Gonzaga took one step further than in 2009-10, defeating the University of Louisville 76-69 to reach the Regional Final. GU season finally came to an end with an 83-60 setback to No. 1 seed Stanford.

THIRD-STRAIGHT SWEET SIXTEEN: The Gonzaga University women's basketball team is making its third-straight trip to the NCAA Tournament Sweet Sixteen.
