Chong also jumped right out of the gate when he won the first nine singles matches to start the spring season.

Sullivan went 4-4 at No. 5 singles before finishing the spring season at the No. 6 spot, going 8-4. Sullivan put together an impressive run in singles play during the spring as he set a team-best nine-match win streak in singles play from Feb. 4-March 23.
Chong and Sullivan have also proved to be a dangerous team in doubles play as they enter post-season play with a 14-8 record. The two seniors also became the first players in Gonzaga history to receive a national ranking, checking in at No. 79 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Top 90 doubles teams polls last week.
At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects 12 individuals to the all-academic squad to mirror the all-conference men's tennis team. To be nominated, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA based on the most recently completed term at the time of nomination, be at least a sophomore in both academic and athletic standing, and prove to be a significant contributor to his team.
The Bulldogs will now turn their attention to the WCC Championships in San Diego, Calif., April 25-28. The Bulldogs enter the tournament as the ninth seed and will face fourth-seed BYU Wednesday at 9:30 a.m.
