WEST VANCOUVER, B.C. - Gonzaga University men's golf junior-to-be James Fahy earned a top 15 finish at the 47th Pacific Coast Amateur, tying for 12th.
Fahy closed out the four-day tournament, held at the Capilano Golf and Country Club July 23-26, with a 2-over par 282 (71-67-72-72).
The Vancouver, B.C., native posted 13 birdies over the 72 holes, including six during the second round to help him to his low round of 67.
Tyler Raber, of El Macero, Calif., won the Pacific Coast Amateur with an 8-under par 272 (63-67-70-72).
This is the second tournament Fahy has participated in this summer. He started the summer off finishing tied for 29th at the 111th British Columbia Amateur Championship with a 72-hole 292.
