SPOKANE, Wash.

THE EVENT: Coming off a nine day break - after playing 108 holes of golf in seven days - the Gonzaga University men's golf team is back on the links to partake in the 25^th annual Duck Invitational hosted at the Emerald Valley Golf Course in Creswell, Ore. Monday and Tuesday, March 24-25.

THE FIELD: Teams participating in the 2014 Duck Invitational are: host University of Oregon, Air Force Academy, Boise State University, University of Colorado, Gonzaga University, University of Idaho, Loyola Marymount University, University of Minnesota, University of Nevada, Oregon State University, University of the Pacific, San Jose State University, Santa Clara University, Saint Mary's College, University of Utah and University of Wyoming.

DUCK INVITATIONAL FORMAT: The 2014 Duck Invitational is held at Emerald Valley Golf Course in Creswell, Ore. The invitational with feature 54-holes; 36-holes played Monday and the final 18-holes played Tuesday. The course is par-72, 7165-yards. Sixteen teams are participating in the invitational with a total of 88 players.

HOW DID GONZAGA DO AT THE 2013 DUCK INVITATIONAL: The Gonzaga University men's squad finished the 2013 Duck Invitational in 15^th with a 54-hole score of 919. Then-sophomore James Fahy placed 41^st with a team-best 224. Peter Gullickson and Sean Walsh also played in the invitational a season ago, shooting a 240 and 150 (after signing a wrong scorecard).

LAST TIME OUT: Gonzaga men's golf is coming off a successful outing at the 2014 Border Olympics. The Bulldogs placed sixth with a final team score of 888. Junior James Fahy tied for 10^th with a 54-hole score of 218. Sophomore Sean Walsh tied for 25^th at 221, with senior Peter Gullickson posted a 222 and tied for 30^th.
