Kacie Bosch Signs Women's Basketball Letter-of-Intent

SPOKANE, Wash. - Gonzaga University women's basketball head coach Lisa Fortier has announced the signing of Kacie Bosch to a national letter of intent. Bosch is a 5-9 guard from Chinook High School in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada.

"Kacie will be a tremendous addition to our team next year," stated Fortier. "She brings a very high defensive IQ, and is a competitor at heart. Her athleticism and versatility at the guard position will increase our depth in the backcourt, and allow us to continue to push the ball offensively and hound the other team up the length of the court. She will bring experience beyond her years due to her involvement with the Canadian National teams and we look forward to welcoming her into the Gonzaga Basketball Family."

Bosch led Chinook to a 29-2 record in 2013-14 and averaged 23.6 points per game in helping the team to a first place finish in the Southern Alberta League, first place in 4A Zones and a second place finish in Provincials. For her efforts Bosch was named the Most Valuable Player of the Southern Alberta League and named Miss Basketball Alberta - the top female player in the Province.

Bosch, who was also named the Southern Alberta League Most Valuable Player as a junior and a first-team League All-Star as a sophomore, ended her high school career scoring over 2,200 points.
