- Gonzaga returns home for the first time since September 22nd after a six-game road trip. That's a span of 38 days. GU went 2-4-0 on the road trip that included stops in five states - Nevada (UNLV), Illinois (Bradley), Colorado (Denver), Oregon (Portland), and California (Loyola Marymount and San Diego).
- San Francisco enters the match with a 4-9-0 mark overall, but the Dons are 2-0 in the WCC and beat GU last season 2-1 in double overtime.
- Gonzaga ended a 10-game losing streak to Santa Clara last season with a 2-1 road victory.
- Eleven of Gonzaga's 14 matches have ended with just a one-goal margin. GU is 5-6 in those games.
ON THE DEFENSE:
- Gonzaga has allowed the fewest goals in the WCC this season with 14, and allowed the fewest shots on goal from its opponents with just 47.
- Gonzaga has recorded four shutouts this season and allowed more than one goal only three times in 14 games with all three coming against NCAA Tournament teams from last season - San Diego, Denver, Hartwick.
- Goalkeeper Chris Lowrimore ranks 60th in the nation in goals against average (.973) and played every minute in goal for GU to rank 85th in goalkeeper minutes (1294:27).
- Lowrimore ranks No. 1 in the WCC in goals against average and second in goalkeeper minutes.
- Against Bradley, Lowrimore recorded his fourth shutout of the season and sixth of his career (one combined). That ranks him sixth all-time at GU in career shutouts.
ON THE OFFENSE:
- Gonzaga is 6-0 this season when scoring the game's first goal, and 0-7-1 when the other team scores first.
- As a team, Gonzaga has outshot opponents 189-127 overall and 73-47 in shots on goal.
- With the lone goal at San Diego, junior Jakob Granlund is tied for the team lead with seven points (3g, 1a), and is tied for first in the WCC with teammates Ben White and Conner Bevans with two game-winning goals each.
- Defender David Sigurdsson scored his first-career collegiate goal with a header against Portland off a free kick.
- Conner Bevans scored 2:05 into overtime against Portland from 30 yards out for his second goal of the season, and second gamewinner Bevans also added an assist against UP and was named the WCC Player of the Week. He's third on the team with six points (2g, 2a).
- Sophomore Ben White recorded his third goal of the season against Bradley, despite spending most of his time as a defender this season. He added an assist at Bradley and is tied for the team-lead with seven points on the year.
