STORYLINES
- Gonzaga beat Pepperdine for the 30th straight time, and won its WCC opener for the 20th-straight time (17-0 under Mark Few).
- Gonzaga has won 12 straight games against Loyola Marymount overall - dating back to a 73-66 LMU win in LA - and 26 straight games over the lines in Spokane - dating back to a 91-79 win on Feb. 7, 1991.
- Gonzaga's three-point shooting, which was .299 entering Monday, improved to .366 in just one game after going 16-26 vs. Pepperdine.
- Gonzaga was without center Przemek Karnowski (back) for the seventh straight game against Pepperdine. The Washington State game was Karnowski's first-career game missed due to injury. Gonzaga is 4-2 without him.
- In Karnowski's absence, Wiltjer and Sabonis have logged 34.9 and 32.6 minutes per game, six and nine more each per game.

ABOUT GONZAGA
- Gonzaga has had a higher field goal percentage than 11 of 11 opponents and only been outrebounded one time in those 12 games.
- The UCLA loss marked the first time Gonzaga has lost two games at home in the same season since 2010-11.
- Domantas Sabonis is averaging a double-double at 17.8 points and 10.6 rebounds/game while shooting .652 from the floor.
- Sabonis posted his fifth double-double overall and second straight with 36 points and 16 rebounds against Tennessee. He's missed a double-double by either one point or one rebound three other times this season.
- Kyle Wiltjer leads the team in scoring at 19.7 points per game, and has had 20-plus six times this season and double figures in 11 of 12. He had his first single-digit game with nine versus Pepperdine.
- Wiljer and Sabonis have combined total three 20-point halves. Wiltjer has two (WSU, UA) and Sabonis has one (UT).
- Head coach Mark Few is the winningest active coach in NCAA Division I by percentage at .808 (447-106).
- Gonzaga was picked to win the WCC regular season title by the league's coaches receiving all nine possible first-place votes.

ABOUT LOYOLA MARYMOUNT
- Head coach Mike Dunlap is in his second season at the helm of the LMU program with a 15-28 overall mark and 4-15 record in WCC play.
- LMU leads the lead in turover margin at +4.3, steals at 8.2 per game, turnovers forced at 16.2 and offensive rebounds 13.3.
- Three players average double-figures for the Lions, led by Brandon Brown's 13.7 points per game.
Adom Jacko averages 13.3 and Steven Haney is at 12.9 ppg and has made a team high 34 threes already this season.
- Marin Mornar is one of the league's leading shot blockers with 15 on the season.

FROM WAY DOWNTOWN, BANG
Gonzaga shot the lights out from behind the three-point line against Pepperdine on Dec. 21 to open WCC play. After starting the season shooting .299 in the first 11 games, the Zags made 16 of 26 three-point attempts to improve the season percentage by nearly seven full percentage points to .366. Josh Perkins led the way going 5-for-6, while Kyle Dranginis, Silas Melson, Eric McClellan and Bryan Alberts each made two. Gonzaga's leading three-point maker Kyle Wiltjer had just one on two attempts. The 16 total threes was the most for a Gonzaga team since March 1, 1999 (546 games) and the most in the Mark Few era.

WASHINGTON FEDERAL BATTLE IN SEATTLE
Gonzaga is coming off its fifth consecutive Washington Federal Battle in Seattle victory after defeating Tennessee 86-79 on Saturday at KeyArena. Domantas Sabonis had 36 points and 16 rebounds, Kyle Wiltjer added 24 points and Eric McClellan had 13 to help Gonzaga hold off a furious Tennessee rally in the second half. A Battle in Seattle record 16,770 fans were in attendance, breaking the previous mark of 16,763 when GU took on Connecticut in December 2008.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE NOTES
- Gonzaga has now won 20 straight West Coast Conference openers, including a 17-0 record under Mark Few.
- GU has now won 21 straight WCC home openers, including all 17 under Mark Few.
- GU has won 43 of its last 44 conference games at home, with the only loss coming to BYU in the final game of the 2014-15 regular season.
- GU has won 18 WCC regular-season titles and the last three in a row after winning a league record 11 straight from 2001-2011.
