SPOKANE, Wash. - Gonzaga men's basketball head coach Mark Few announced that senior center Przemek Karnowski will undergo season-ending back surgery on Thursday afternoon.

Karnowski has missed the last eight games with a back injury after averaging 8.8 points and 5.4 rebounds in the first five games of the season.

Gonzaga plays Santa Clara on Thursday at 2 p.m. in Santa Clara, Calif.
