- After making 14 saves over the weekend, Christie Tombari is now in sole possession of sixth all-time on the Gonzaga career saves list. She moved ahead of assistant coach Susan Brown (193) on Sunday. - The redshirt junior has made 195 saves while at GU, eight away from fourth.
- She is third all-time with a 1.38 goals against average.
- Her 63 allowed goals in her career is also fourth on the program's all-time career list.
CORNERING THE OPPOSITION:
- Gonzaga leads the West Coast Conference in corner kicks per game, averaging 7.86 per outing.
- The Zags 55 total corner kicks also tops the conference, 10 more than second place San Francisco.
SCOUTING THE COUGARS:
- Washington State has won its first six games and is two spots out of the top 25.
- The Cougars are one of only three teams in the country that still have a 1.000 winning percentage.
- WSU has an active unbeaten streak in regular season nonconference play of 22 matches, the third-longest in the country.
- Their 2.17 goals per game is second in the Pac-12 Conference.
- WSU is outscoring opponents 13-5 so far this season, outshooting them 99-73.
- Washington State has not allowed a second-half goal in nonconference play since Sept. 9, 2012.
