STORYLINES
- Last time out: Gonzaga beat Portland for the fourth straight time and is now 5-0 in WCC play for the 10th time under Mark Few.
- Gonzaga won two of three meetings with BYU last season, but dropped its game at McCarthey, ending a 41-game home win streak.
- Gonzaga has won seven straight games overall, its longest streak of the season.
- GU's three-point shooting has jumped significantly in WCC play -- .335 in non-conference games vs. .457 in conference games.
- Gonzaga head coach Mark Few announced senior center Przemek Karnowski will miss rest of season after back surgery on Dec. 31.
- Kyle Wiltjer and Domantas Sabonis have logged 35.5 and 34.1 minutes per game since Karnowski's injury, compared to 29.4 and 23.2 prior.
- Redshirt freshman Josh Perkins has come up huge for GU over the last five, averaging 11.3 points and 3.7 assists with a 3.14:1 asst/TO ratio.
- HBO is filming a special on Gonzaga Basketball chronicling the season, which will debut Feb. 16 at 10 p.m. as a five-part weekly series.

ABOUT GONZAGA
- Gonzaga has had a higher field goal percentage than 15 of 16 opponents and only been outrebounded one time in those 16 games.
- Domantas Sabonis is averaging a double-double at 18.9 points and 11.0 rebounds/game while shooting .657 from the floor, which ranks him first in the WCC in rebounding and field goal percentage.
- Sabonis posted his eighth double-double of the season with 28 points and 17 rebounds at Portland.
He's missed a double-double by either one point or one rebound three other times this season.
- Kyle Wiltjer leads the league in scoring at 21.5 points per game, and has had 20-plus 10 times this season along with double figures in 15 of 16. He had his only single-digit game with nine versus Pepperdine.
- Wiljer and Sabonis have combined total four 20-point halves. Wiltjer has three (WSU, UA, LMU) and Sabonis has one (UT).
- Head coach Mark Few is the winningest active coach in NCAA Division I by percentage at .809 (451-106).
- Gonzaga was picked to win the WCC regular season title by the league's coaches receiving all nine possible first-place votes.

ABOUT BYU
- Head coach Dave Rose is in his 11th season leading the Cougar program with a career record of 269-93.
- Kyle Collinsworth is coming off his NCAA-record ninth-career triple double. He averages 14.9 pts., 7.9 rebs., and 7.45 assts. per game.
- Senior guard Chase Fischer leads the team in scoring at 18.1 points per game and has made a league-high 55 threes this season.
- Freshman guard Nick Emery averages 15.3 points per game, while Utah State transfer Kyle Davis averages 12.1 points and a team-best 9.5 rebounds per game. The Cougars have averaged 88.5 points per game in conference play.

FEW vs. WCC NOTES
- Gonzaga head coach Mark Few has led GU a 5-0 start in WCC play for second straight season and 10th time in 17 seasons.
- Few is 216-25 all-time against the WCC, a winning percentage of .896.
- Few has led GU to four undefeated WCC campaigns (2004, '06, '09, '13) and four one-loss WCC seasons (2001, '02, '08, '15).
- Under Few, Gonzaga has not lost more than three WCC games in any year, and never finished lower than second in the regular season race.

FROM WAY DOWNTOWN, BANG
Gonzaga has been hot from behind the arc in WCC play, shooting a combined .457 (43-94) in five league games. That was especially apparent in the first two WCC games -- at home against Pepperdine and LMU. Combined, the Zags went 26 for 44 (.591) in those two games. That came after starting the season shooting .335 in the first 11 games. GU's season percentage is now at .373. In those two games, Josh Perkins went 6-for-8, Kyle Wiltjer went 5-for-8 and Bryan Alberts went 4-for-7 to lead the Zags from behind the arc. The 16 total threes against Pepperdine were the most for a Gonzaga team since March 1, 1999 (546 games) and the most in the Mark Few era.

- GU is holding a +10.2 rebounding edge, led by Domantas Sabonis' 12.1 per game.
- GU is averaging 88.9 points per game, a scoring margin of +16.2.
- GU's defense is holding opponents to a .423 mark from the field and .346 mark from behind the arc.
- GU is averaging 3.0 more assists per game, 1.15 more blocks per game and made 48 more free throws than opponents.
- Individually, GU has four players averaging at least 11 points per game -- Sabonis 24.1, Wiltjer 22.7, McClellan 11.3 and Perkins 11.1.
- Sabonis has team-highs in FG percentage (.690), points (24.1/game), rebounds (12.1/game), blocks (1.29/game) and steals (1.0/game).
