STORYLINES
- Last time out: Gonzaga beat Portland for the fifth straight time, 92-66, knocking down 15 threes with five players in double figures.
- Gonzaga took down SMU last season in Spokane 72-56. Sabonis had 13 points and nine rebounds, Wiltjer had 10 points, five rebounds.
- Gonzaga is 7-1 on the road this season and has won 17 of its last 18 away from The Kennel.
- Gonzaga has taken care of the ball since the start of WCC play, averaging 10.4 TOs/game, compared to 13.3 in 11 non-conference games.
- Gonzaga leads the nation in three-point field goal percentage defense at .273 and ranks No. 4 the nation in defensive rebounding at 30.04.
- Kyle Wiltjer and Domantas Sabonis have each blown past last year's numbers. Wiltjer is averaging 5.4 more points per game and 1.3 more rebounds, while Sabonis is averaging 7.5 more points per game and 4.3 more rebounds per game than last season.
- HBO is filming a special on Gonzaga Basketball chronicling the season, which will debut Feb. 16 at 10 p.m. as a five-part weekly series.

ABOUT GONZAGA
- Gonzaga has had a higher field goal percentage than 23 of 25 opponents and only been outrebounded three times in those 25 games.
- Domantas Sabonis is averaging a double-double at 17.4 points and 11.5 rebounds/game (No. 9 in the NCAA) while shooting .616 from the floor, which ranks him first in the WCC in rebounding and second in field goal percentage.
- Sabonis posted his league-leading 15th double-double of the season on Thursday at Portland, and ninth in the last 11 games. He's missed a double-double by either one point or one rebound three other times this season.
- Kyle Wiltjer leads the league in scoring at 21.8 points per game (No. 11 in the NCAA), and has had 20-plus 15 times this season along with double figures in 23 of 25 games.
- Wiltjer and Sabonis have combined total five 20-point halves. Wiltjer has four (at WSU, UA, LMU, SCU) and Sabonis has one (vs. UT).
- Head coach Mark Few is the winningest active coach in NCAA Division I by percentage at .809 (458-108).

ABOUT SMU
- Head coach Larry Brown is in his fourth season leading the SMU program and has an 80-37 mark.
- SMU was the nation's final undefeated team, winning their first 18 games until a loss at Temple on January 24th. Lost three of last five.
- SMU has four players on the current roster that average double figures, including a team-leading 16.3 per game from guar Nic Moore.
- SMU bigs Ben Moore and Jordan Tolbert each are averaging 12.0 points per game with Tolbert at a team-leading 8.7 rebs/game.
- SMU has made 42 percent of three-point attempts with Nic Moore making 61 on the season and Shake Milton making 40 threes this year.

DEFENSE CARRYING THE LOAD
Since giving up 94 points in an overtime win at San Francisco-- the first 90-plus-point opponent for Gonzaga since a 96-91 OT loss at USF in 2011 -- GU opponents have averaged just 63.6 points per game over the last 10 games. That includes just two opponents reaching the 70 mark, while two other opponents were held to 48 (USF at home) and 52 (San Diego at home). Over the 10-game span, Gonzaga has held opponents to just 39.2 percent shooting overall and just 22.8 percent from behind the arc.
