- Head coach Mark Few enters the game with a career record of 464-110, the NCAA current active leader in winning percentage at .808.
- Gonzaga won its 15th WCC regular season title and 13th WCC tournament title under Mark Few.
- Gonzaga appeared in the WCC Tournament title game for the 19th straight year, winning for the fourth straight year.
- Domantas Sabonis is averaging a double-double at 17.4 points and 11.6 rebounds while shooting .617 from the floor, which ranks him No. 14 in the nation in field goal percentage and No. 8 in the nation in rebounds per game. His 383 rebounds is the fifth-highest NCAA total.
- Sabonis posted his league-leading 20th double-double of the season in the WCC semifinal vs. BYU with 15 points and 14 rebounds and has 14 in the past 19 games. He's missed a double-double by either one point or one rebound three other times this season.
- Kyle Wiltjer led the WCC in scoring at 20.7 points per game (No. 20 in the NCAA), and has had 20-plus 19 times this season along with double figures in 30 of 33 games.
