CANBY, Ore. -- The Gonzaga men's golf team sits in 10th place following the first round of the Airstream Adventures Northwest Classic Monday. The Zags finished Round 1 with a 295 (+7) total.

The second round was suspended due to darkness after a lengthy rain delay at the Willamette Country Club. Standing water on several greens caused the delay and the second round will finish prior to the final round Tuesday.

The Bulldogs' Tyler Munetake is tied for 10th on the individual leaderboard. The freshman carded a season-best 71 (-1) in the opening round. He had four birdies and 11 pars.

Sean Walsh is tied for 24th after a one-over-par (73) first round. The senior had three birdies and 12 pars. David Ganz was two-over (74) and tied for 34th. He is playing the event as an individual.

Ryan Gaske and Ben DuBois are tied for 46th and 59th at three-over (75) and four-over (76). Angus Montgomery is five-over (77) and tied for 72nd.

Oregon tops the team leaderboard at nine-under (279). The No. 30 Ducks have a one stroke lead over No. 34 UNLV. Seattle University is also under-par at four-under (284).

Seattle's Joe Harvie is in first on the individual leaderboard after an opening round of 65 (-7). John Oda of UNLV is in second at six-under (66).

The second round continues Tuesday morning at 8. Round 3 begins immediately after the second round. Live scoring will be available on GoZags.com.
