NCAA TOURNAMENT TEAM NOTES
- Last time out: GU earned a spot in its seventh Sweet 16 with an 82-59 rout of third-seeded Utah, the third-largest margin of victory by a team seeded 11th or lower. It also marks Gonzaga's NCAA record fourth Sweet 16 as a double-digit seed.

- Head coach Mark Few enters the game with a career record of 466-110, the NCAA current active leader in winning percentage at .809.
- Gonzaga won its 15th WCC regular season title and 13th WCC tournament title under Mark Few. - Gonzaga appeared in the WCC Tournament title game for the 19th straight year, winning for the fourth straight year.
- Domantas Sabonis is averaging a double-double at 17.5 points and 11.7 rebounds while shooting .609 from the floor, which ranks him No. 17 in the nation in field goal percentage and No. 7 in the nation in rebounds per game. His 409 rebounds is the fifth-best total in the NCAA.
- Sabonis posted his league-leading 22nd double-double of the season in the NCAA Second Round win over Utah with 19 points and 10 rebounds, and has 16 in the past 21 games. He's missed a double-double by either one point or one rebound three other times this year.

McCLELLAN EMERGING AS GO-TO OFFENSIVE WEAPON
After posting one 20-point game in the first 30 games of the season, senior guard Eric McClellan has scored at least 20 points three times in the last five games, including a 22-point outburst against Utah in the NCAA Tournament Second Round. During those five games, he is averaging 18.4 points and knocking down 56 percent of his field goal attempts, including a 9-for-16 mark from three (.563) and a 23-for-24 (.958) mark from the charity stripe.
Domantas Sabonis: REBOUNDING MACHINE
Sophomore forward Domantas Sabonis pulled down 16 rebounds in Gonzaga's NCAA First Round win over Seton Hall, which marked a GU record for an NCAA game, passing Casey Calvary's 15 rebounds in 2001 against Virginia. Here's more rebounding notes on Sabonis:
- Ranks No. 7 in the nation in rebounding at 11.7 per game
- Ranks No. 5 in the nation in defensive rebounds at 8.74 per game
- Ranks No. 6 in the nation in double-doubles with 22 on the season
- Had career-high 20 boards at Pacific, the first 20-rebound game for a GU player since Josh Heytvelt had 22 at Pepperdine in 2007
- Would become first double-digit rebounder at Gonzaga for a season since Paul Cathey's 11.5 per game during the 1977-78 season

Since giving up 94 points in an overtime win at San Francisco-- the first 90-plus-point opponent for Gonzaga since a 96-91 OT loss at USF in 2011 -- GU opponents have averaged just 65.1 points per game over the last 20 games. That includes just four opponents reaching the 70 mark, while three other opponents were held to 52 or less, including Seton Hall (52) on Thursday, USF at home (48) and San Diego at home (52). Over the 19-game span, Gonzaga has held opponents to just .401 percent shooting overall and just 29.3 percent from behind the arc. In two NCAA Tournament games, GU opponents are averaging 55.5 points and shooting just 36.8 percent from the field.
