BANDON, Ore. -- Sean Walsh enters the final round of the seventh annual Bandon Dunes Championships in a tie for 13th place.

Walsh carded a 74 (+3) on the Bandon Trails course Monday. The senior has a two-day total of 145 (+3). He birdied four holes in the second round, and has 23 pars after 36 holes. Walsh is fourth in the 69-golfer field on par-three holes with an average of 3.00 on those holes.

"Sean's round came down to two double bogies, but he held it together well enough to keep himself inside the top 15," Zags' Head Coach Robert Gray said. "A good round tomorrow can get him inside the top five."

Ben DuBois was six-over (77) in Round 2. He had 11 pars, going two-over on the front-nine and four-over on the back-nine. The sophomore is 10-over (152) and tied for 38th.

Angus Montgomery is tied for 52nd after a 79 (+8) Monday. He is at 13-over (155) in the tournament. Playing as an individual, Tyler Munetake is 14-over (156) after two rounds. The freshman was eight-over (79) on Day 2.

Ryan Gaske (T64th) and David Ganz (69th) went nine-over (80) and seven-over (78) in the second round. Ganz improved from his first round total by four strokes. Gaske is 16-over (158) and Ganz is 18-over (160).

Entering the final round, the Bulldogs are in 11th. GU is 40-over (608) after going 24-over (308) Monday.

"We shot our second highest round of the year today in perfect conditions," Gray said. "It was one of those days when nobody plays well on a course that's available for lower scores and it really hurt us in the standings. From here, we'll regroup then go out tomorrow and give it everything we have to move up the leaderboard."

Ninth-ranked Clemson leads the team leaderboard at four-under. The Tigers are the lone school under-par and they have an 18-stroke lead over second-place Washington and Missouri. Clemson was 10-under (274) in the second round, 16 strokes better than its first round total.

Three golfers top the individual leaderboard, including two Tigers, at three-under (139).

The third and final round begins with a shotgun start Tuesday morning at 8:30. Live scoring will be available on GoZags.com.
