SPOKANE, Wash. -- Gonzaga and Quinnipiac will meet for the first-time ever in the opening round of the 2016 AdvoCare Invitational on Nov. 24 at 3:30 p.m. Pacific Time from the HP Field House at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Fla.

ESPN Events revealed the bracket for the 11th annual AdvoCare Invitational, which will be played Nov. 24, 25 and 27.

The bracket-format tournament features 12 games over three days. Teams will compete once per day, advancing with a victory. The two teams that remain undefeated will face off in the championship game on Nov. 27, at 10:30 a.m. PT on ESPN.

The AdvoCare Invitational features three teams who advanced to the Sweet 16 in last year's NCAA Tournament -- Gonzaga, Iowa State and Miami -- as well as BIG EAST champion Seton Hall. Other participants include Florida, who advanced to the third round of the NIT Postseason tournament last season, Indiana State, Quinnipiac and Stanford.

Gonzaga is 6-0 all-time in the tournament, winning the 2008 and 2012 titles. In 2008, the Zags defeated Oklahoma State, Maryland and Tennessee to claim the title. Jeremy Pargo was named the tournament MVP. The Bulldogs beat Clemson, Oklahoma and Davidson during the 2012 title run. Elias Harris was selected as the MVP of that tournament.

Gonzaga ended last season in the Sweet 16 with a 28-8 record. The Zags advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the 18th straight season after claiming their 19th West Coast Conference title.

Quinnipiac University will be representing the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) in the AdvoCare Invitational. The Bobcats return seven players, including three starters, from last season's 9-21 finish. Daniel Harris is Quinnipiac's leading returning scorer, averaging 10.2 points per game in 2015-16. The Bobcats also bring back their top three post players, including last season's leading rebounder, Abdulai Bundu (6.6 rpg).
