This is the 27th all-time meeting between Gonzaga and Loyola Marymount. The Lions lead the series, 18-5-3. The Lions have an 8-3-1 advantage in the meetings in Spokane. Gonzaga's last win in the series was a 3-1 victory on Oct. 13, 2013, at Loyola Marymount. The Zags' last win in Spokane was in 2012, 2-0. LMU won last season's matchup in Los Angeles, 2-1. - Loyola Marymount lost its sixth straight game at Portland Friday.
- Charlee Pruitt made eight saves for the Lions, but it was Portland's one second half game that determined the outcome of the game. The Pilots earned the 1-0 win over Loyola Marymount.
- Sarina Bolden finished with a team-high five shots, with two on frame.
- Bolden has taken a team-high 35 shots, with 17 on goal. Skyler Robledo has 24 shots this season.

- The Zags are unbeaten in eight of their last 10 contests overall.
