STARTING STRONG
With a 6-1 record to start this season, the Zags are off to their best start in
Lisa Fortier's tenure. The last time the Bulldogs opened the season 6-1 was during the 2013-14 season. That year, Gonzaga posted an 8-1 record before suffering their second loss, a 73-45 loss at No. 6/4 Stanford. That season, Gonzaga collected wins against Big 10 foes Ohio State and Wisconsin in addition to wins over Idaho, UT-Martin, EWU, Colgate, Fairfield and Portland State.
