SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Gonzaga volleyball sophomore outside hitter Sarah Penner was named All-West Coast Conference Honorable Mention Monday afternoon. This is Penner's second-straight All-WCC nod after being named to the All-Freshman team a season ago.
 
For the second straight season, Penner led the Bulldogs in kills, attacks and points. This season, Penner finished with 313 kills hitting .184 for 2.93 kills per set. The Sherwood, Ore., native added 1.40 digs per set to rank fifth on the squad and had 66 total blocks on the season, good for third.
 
Penner started 25 matches on the year and finished with double-figure kills 17 times with four double-doubles.
