THE TIP-OFF:
- Gonzaga hosts Denver in the McCarthey Athletic Center for the first time on Friday, at 6 p.m.
- The Bulldogs won the only other previous meeting with Denver, 90-58, in Spokane on Nov. 24, 2003.
- Since joining the NCAA in 1958-59, the Zags are 12-0 against current Summit League members. GU won its last meeting against a current Summit League foe, beating North Dakota State earlier this season, 102-60.
- Gonzaga is coming off an 89-55 win over Denver Tuesday. Brandon Clarke (17 pts, 13 rbs) and Rui Hachimura (20 pts, 11 rbs) both finished with double-doubles. Five Zags finished with double-digit scoring.
- Josh Perkins leads the country with 96 total assists and is third averaging 8.0 assists per game. Brandon Clarke is seventh in field goal percentage (69.5), third with 39 blocks and fifth averaging 3.25 blocks per game.
- The Zags are first with 232 total assists, second in the nation in field goal percentage (52.2 percent) and sixth in scoring offense (93.3).
 
SERIES NOTES:
- This is the second all-time meeting between Gonzaga and Denver.

SCOUTING THE PIONEERS:
- Denver delivered one of its best shooting performances of the season in a 76-64 home win against Montana State on Tuesday.
- The Pioneers knocked down a season-best 15 3s in the win.
- Creighton transfer Ronnie Harrell Jr. led the way with the hot-shooting touch, pouring in a career-high 24 points with 18 coming from beyond the arc.
- Joe Rosga added nine point and seven assists.
- Harrel Jr. averages a team-high 14.3 points per game, while Rosga and Ade Murkey chip in 12.6 and 11.5 points.
- Rosga averages a team-best 2.8 assists and 1.6 steals per outing. Harrell Jr. grabs a team-high 4.4 rebounds a game.
- Rosga was named to the Preseason All-Summit League team, and DU was tabbed third in the preseason poll with one first place vote.
 
A ZAG WIN WOULD ...
- Be Gonzaga's 24th straight over an unranked team.
- Be the 22nd consecutive home non-conference victory.
- Extend GU's home win streak to 12.
- Improve the Bulldogs' record to 13-0 all-time versus current members from the Summit League.
- Make Gonzaga 107-42 in December games under Mark Few.
- Improve Josh Perkins' record to 111-17 in games he has played in for Gonzaga.
 
CRASHING THE BOARDS:
- Gonzaga's 53 rebounds in the win over UT Arlington were the most by a West Coast Conference team so far this season.
- The Zags had a 53-31 advantage on the glass in the victory.
- Brandon Clarke (17 pts, 13 rbs) and Rui Hachimura (20 pts, 11 rbs) both recorded double-doubles.
 
GETTING DEFENSIVE:
- The Zags held UT Arlington to 26.8 percent (19-of-71) from the field in GU's win.
- It was the lowest field goal percentage by an opponent since West Virginia finished 26.7 percent (16-of-60) in the 2016 Sweet 16.
- After holding UTA to 10-of-36 (27.78 percent) shooting from the field in the first half, Gonzaga limited the Mavericks to 9-of-35 (25.71 percent) in the second half.
