THE TIP-OFF:
- Gonzaga hosts Denver in the McCarthey Athletic Center for the first time on Friday, at 6 p.m.
- The Bulldogs won the only other previous meeting with Denver, 90-58, in Spokane on Nov. 24, 2003.

- Denver delivered one of its best shooting performances of the season in a 76-64 home win against Montana State on Tuesday.
- The Pioneers knocked down a season-best 15 3s in the win.
- Creighton transfer Ronnie Harrell Jr. led the way with the hot-shooting touch, pouring in a career-high 24 points with 18 coming from beyond the arc.
- Joe Rosga added nine point and seven assists.
- Harrel Jr. averages a team-high 14.3 points per game, while Rosga and Ade Murkey chip in 12.6 and 11.5 points.
- Rosga averages a team-best 2.8 assists and 1.6 steals per outing. Harrell Jr. grabs a team-high 4.4 rebounds a game.
- Rosga was named to the Preseason All-Summit League team, and DU was tabbed third in the preseason poll with one first place vote.

- The Zags held UT Arlington to 26.8 percent (19-of-71) from the field in GU's win.
- It was the lowest field goal percentage by an opponent since West Virginia finished 26.7 percent (16-of-60) in the 2016 Sweet 16.
- After holding UTA to 10-of-36 (27.78 percent) shooting from the field in the first half, Gonzaga limited the Mavericks to 9-of-35 (25.71 percent) in the second half.
