SPOKANE, Wash.- Gonzaga women's tennis will continue their four-match road trip by heading to California where they will meet Harvard in Northridge on Wednesday, and Fresno State in Northridge on Friday. Both matches will start at 10 a.m.
After coming up short in a trip to Kansas falling to the No. 20 Jayhawks and No. 21 Wichita State, the Zags are looking to bounce back. In a 4-3 loss to the Shockers, Sophie Whittle, Domonique Garley and Kate Ketels each earned victories in singles play. Against KU, Garley grabbed another win on the weekend after winning the third-set super-tiebreaker 10-7.
Harvard is 4-7 on the season, after losing their past two matches 6-1 against Boston College and 6-1 against Syracuse. The Crimson will face Marist and Providence before they head to Cal State Northridge to meet the Zags.
Fresno State 3-8 in dual play, after losing their past three matches to ranked opponents. The Bulldogs will meet Texas Tech and Dartmouth, before the Zags.
The Fresno State match was originally scheduled for Saturday, but was moved up a day to Friday due to impending weather in the area.
