SERIES NOTES:
Gonzaga and Air Force meet for the fourth time. The Bulldogs has won the last two meetings between the programs, including the latest, 2-1, on Aug. 26, 2011, in Boise, Idaho. Air Force won the first meeting between the teams in the 2002 season-opener. The Falcons edge GU, 2-1, in Colorado Springs in that meeting. The Zags are 19-13-5 against current Mountain West Conference members all-time. Prior to Friday's win at MWC opponent Colorado State, GU tied Boise State, 3-3, on Sept. 15, 2016, in Spokane. The Bulldogs fell at Utah State (2-1, OT) and beat Nevada (1-0) that same season.
 
SCOUTING THE FALCONS:
- Air Force drew with Houston in Colorado Springs Thursday, 2-2.
- The Falcons led 2-1 at halftime, after first half goals from Taylor Cobb and Kaitlyn Cook. Keelyn Osoba was credited with an assist on Cobb's goal.
- Three of Cook's game-high five shots were on goal.
- Jennifer Hiddink made nine saves for Air Force.
- The Falcons have been outscored this season, 8-6, and outshot, 92-49.
- Emma Nelson has scored a team-high two goals, and Cook has taken a team-best 11 shots.
- Hiddink has made 39 saves this season, with an .830 save percentage and a 1.52 goals against average.
- After opening the season with losses to Colorado and at Northern Colorado, Air Force is unbeaten in its last three games, with draws in its last two contests.
- The Falcons are 1-1-1 at home this season.
- Air Force was picked ninth in the MWC Preseason Poll.
 
SAMANTHA'S BUSY AFTERNOON:
- Gonzaga's Samantha Heilman scored a goal and recorded an assist in the win at Colorado State.
- Heilman's goal was the first in her collegiate career, while her assist was the fifth of the season.
- The junior leads the team with five assists. That ranks second in the West Coast Conference.
 
WELL THAT WAS QUICK:
- The Zags' two goals at Colorado State came in the first 13 minutes of the game, with the first coming in the fifth minute.
- At Oregon State this season, India Jencks scored 3:25 into the match, before Sophia Viviano scored in the ninth minute.
 
SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS:
- The Zags average 17.14 shots per game, which ranks second in the West Coast Conference.
- Gonzaga's 120 total shots are the second-most in the league.
- The Bulldogs are one of only five teams in the WCC that have taken over 100 shots already this season.
