SEATTLE, Wash. – The Gonzaga women's soccer team grabbed a 1-0 shutout win at Seattle University Friday.
India Jencks scored the game-winning goal in the 75
th minute.
The Zags (5-2-2) completed their non-conference schedule with the road win. GU enters West Coast Conference play unbeaten in its last three contests.
After outshooting the Redhawks 9-1 in the first half, Jencks found the back of the net with 15 minutes remaining in regulation. Her fourth goal of the season came off of a blocked shot by
Sophia Viviano. It was Jencks' 13
th goal of her career, which moves her to eighth in program history.

Isabel Jones extended their shutout streak in the victory. The Bulldogs have not allowed a goal over the last 277 minutes. Jones made two saves in Friday's win.
The Zags outshot Seattle, 19-6, placing five shots on frame.
Madeline Gotta took a match-high five shots for GU. The Bulldogs had a 5-4 edge in corner kicks.
Ariana Romero made four saves for Seattle (2-5-2).
Gonzaga opens West Coast Conference play at BYU (5-3-1) next Friday at 6 p.m. Pacific Time. The game will be broadcast on BYUtv and have live stats on GoZags.com.
