- The Gonzaga men's soccer schedule is quickly becoming one of the toughest in the country. Â
- They played No. 3 Washington on Monday and on Friday they host No. 17 UC Davis.
- Still remaining on the Zags schedule is No. 17 San Francisco, No. 18 Portland, and SMU, Saint Mary's, and Pacific, who are all receiving votes.
- The Zags also played four ranked opponents in 2016, going 2-2 in those games.
YOUTH MOVEMENT:
- The Zags have seen eight freshman or sophomores log significant minutes through their first four matches.
- Six of those players have started games, as freshman
Demitrius Kigeya and
Mark McEntosh have started all four.

AGGIES:
- An unbeaten start to the 2018 campaign has the UC Davis men's soccer team in the polls for the first time in nearly a decade, entering the week ranked as the No. 17 team.
- UC Davis is the United Soccer Coaches top-ranked team in the Far West region.
- Roy Boateng, Adam Mickelson, and Nabi Kibunguchy, were all selected Preseason All-League. Â UC Davis was picked fourth in the Big West.
ROAD RUNNERS:
- CSU Bakersfield started the season 2-0, including a win over Pacific.
- They have since dropped two-straight, including a loss to UC Davis.
- They were picked to finish seventh in the WAC.
VS. THE WAC:
- The Zags have faced at least one member of the Western Athletic Conference the past seven years. Â Since then, GU has faced Seattle U five times and Utah Valley four times.
- In that span they are 7-6 and 4-3 at home.
- GU is 5-3 all-time at home against the WAC and 13-12-2 overall. Â
VS. THE BIG WEST:
- The Zags are 4-5-1 all-time at home against Big West teams, going 1-1-1 over their past three since 2012.
- Overall since 2012 though, GU is 4-2-1 against Big West teams, playing four games on the road.
