THE TIP OFF:
- Gonzaga travels to Texas A&M for the first time Friday, at 6 p.m. Pacific Time.
- The Zags and Aggies meet for the third time ever. Last season, GU eased to a 94-71 win over TAMU. In the first-ever meeting with an SEC opponent in Spokane, the Bulldogs led by as many as 34 points in the second half.
Filip Petrusev scored 10 points.
- The Bulldogs are 14-9 all-time versus current members from the Southeastern Conference.
- In their last meeting against SEC opponent, top-ranked GU fell to No. 7 Tennessee, 76-73, in a thrilling Jerry Colangelo Classic last season in Phoenix, Ariz.
- The Zags are coming off of a 97-66 win over North Dakota Tuesday. Six Zags finished in double-digits led by
Corey Kispert's 20 points.
Filip Petrusev added 19 points, 15 rebounds and four blocks.
- The Bulldogs are looking to their fourth-straight 4-0 start to the season. GU is 3-0 for the ninth straight season.
- Gonzaga has won 23 straight regular season games, the longest active streak in the nation.
- After two games, GU is second in the nation with 63 assists, third at 59 percent from the field, and fifth averaging 100.7 points per game.

Joel Ayayi's 13.0 assist-to-turnover ratio tops the nation. Through two games he has 13 assists to one turnover. GU is seventh as a team with a 2.10 assist-to-turnover ratio.
SCOUTING THE AGGIES:
- Texas A&M has opened the season with a pair of home wins over Northwestern State (77-63) and Louisiana-Monroe.
- The Aggies beat ULM Monday, 63-57. TAMU limited the Warhawks to 41 percent shooting from the field, including 28 percent behind-the-arc, and forced 20 turnovers.
- Three Aggies finished in double-digit scoring led by Jay Jay Chandler's 17 points. Andre Gordon added 14 points and Quenton Jackson had 12 points and six boards.
- Texas A&M's top-returning scorer and rebounder from 2018-19, Savion Flagg, was named to the Preseason All-Southeastern Conference Second Team. Flagg led the Aggies last season with 13.9 points and 7.7 rebounds per game and was second on the team in assists at 73.
- Texas A&M was tabbed 12th by media members in the SEC's annual preseason conference poll.

- Extend Gonzaga's win streak to four games.
- Be the 24th straight regular season win, the longest active streak in the nation.
- Improve Gonzaga to 2-1 all-time against Texas A&M and 15-9 against SEC opponents.

FAMILIAR FAST STARTS:
- Gonzaga has started its schedule 3-0 for the ninth consecutive season.
- GU is the only program in the country to start 3-0 in each of the last nine seasons. However, Arizona and Louisville could join them as well with a win in their next game.
- The Zags last lost their fourth game of the season in 2010, falling at home to a Kawhi Leonard-led San Diego State.
- GU is vying for its fourth straight 4-0 start. The last time the Bulldogs lost their fifth game of the season was in 2015 to Texas A&M in the Battle 4 Atlantis, 62-61.
ZAGS INK BACK COURT DUO ON SIGNING DAY:
- Gonzaga's
Mark Few announced the signing of Dominick Harris and Julian Strawther to National Letters of Intent.
- Harris averaged 24 points and three assists per game through his first three years of high school. After scoring 24.5 points per outing during his sophomore season at Pacifica High School, he transferred to nationally-ranked Rancho Christian High School as a junior.
- Harris is ranked No. 60 in the Class of 2020 by 247 Sports. He is a four-star recruit according to ESPN, ranked as the 59th-best recruit in the Class of 2020.
- Strawther, who is No. 63 in 247 Sports' ratings and No. 70 in ESPN's top 100, will join the Zags as a freshman in 2020-21. The four-star recruit is a skilled, athletic guard with shooting range.
- Strawther averaged 27.3 points and 8.8 rebounds as a junior at Liberty High School.
- This past summer at the FIBA Under-19 World Cup in Greece, Strawther was second in the tournament averaging 22 points per game at 45 percent shooting from the field for Puerto Rico.
FILL IT UP PETRUSEV ... PART TWO:
- After scoring a career-high 25 points against Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Petrusev totaled 19 in the win over North Dakota.
- He pulled down a career-high 15 rebounds against UND, made a career-high four blocks and matched a career-high two assists ... all in a career-high 23 minutes.
- Petrusev currently leads the conference averaging nine boards per game.

Filip Petrusev filled up the stat sheet in the Zags' 110-60 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
- Petrusev scored a career-high 25 points on 9-of-10 shooting from the field. He added six rebounds and had two blocks.
- Through three games he is averaging a team-high 19.7 points and shooting 66.7 percent from the field (22-of-33).
