SPOKANE, Wash. – The Gonzaga volleyball team extended its win streak to four matches with a four-set victory over San Francisco (19-25, 25-17, 25-23, 25-22) Thursday evening inside the Martin Centre.

Three players finished with double-figure kills for Gonzaga (10-16, 4-10 WCC), led by Sarah Penner with 17 kills to go along with two digs and five blocks. Julia Talarico led the Bulldogs with 24 digs, while Jenna Kuehn finished with a double-double of 30 assists and 17 digs.

"We have committed to serving tough and passing steady," head volleyball coach Diane Nelson said. "When those two things come together, we can click pretty well. My team is playing free, and it's fun to see them be successful."

Gonzaga was stellar defensively, finishing with 79 digs; that number ranks tied for 10th all-time for digs in a four-set match during the rally scoring era. The Zags also added 11.0 blocks for their fourth double-figure blocks match of the season.
