Gonzaga looks to extend nation’s longest win streak to 19

THE TIP-OFF:
- Gonzaga and Pacific meet for the 17th time on Thursday in Stockton, Calif., at 8 p.m. The Zags have a 15-6 advantage in the series.
- The Zags have won 15 of the previous 16 matchups in the series, including the last 13 straight. GU is 7-1 in the meetings in Stockton.
- The Tigers lone victory in the series came in Stockton in 1976, 70-60.
- Gonzaga is coming off a 102-68 win over BYU Saturday. In the home season finale, Zach Norvell Jr. had 25 points, Rui Hachimura scored 23 and Josh Perkins added 21. Brandon Clarke had 11 points and 10 rebounds.
- The Bulldogs have clinched their seventh straight West Coast Conference regular season title. It's the program's 22nd WCC regular season title.
- GU owns the longest active win streak in the country at 18.
- Clarke is first in the nation in field goal percentage (68.4), second with 90 blocks, and third averaging 3.10 blocks. Josh Perkins is sixth in the country with 199 assists and is ninth averaging 6.9 assists.
- The Zags are first in the nation in field goal percentage (53.2 percent), first in scoring margin (25.4), first in scoring offense (90.7), first in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.8), and second with 539 total assists.
- Through 14 games, the Bulldogs are outscoring their conference opponents by an average of 28.4 points.
 
SERIES NOTES:
- This is the 17th all-time meeting between Gonzaga and Pacific.
- The Zags have won 15 of the previous 16 matchups in the series, including the last 13 straight. GU is 7-1 in the meetings in Stockton.
- The Bulldogs are 13-0 against Pacific under Mark Few.
- The Tigers lone victory in the series came in Stockton in 1976, 70-60.
- In the meeting earlier this season in Spokane, the Zags rolled to a 67-36 win. Josh Perkins led Gonzaga with 14 points and six assists. Zach Norvell Jr. added 11 points.
- GU won last season's meeting in Stockton, 71-61. The Bulldogs led for 36 minutes and were paced by Killian Tillie's 21 points and 10 rebounds.
- Gonzaga has won all six meetings in Spokane, and all six have been inside the McCarthey Athletic Center.
- The Zags edged Pacific, 85-83, in the first-ever meeting in Stockton on Feb. 5, 1959.
 
SCOUTING THE TIGERS:
- Pacific dropped its fifth straight game Saturday at home, 63-56, to Loyola Marymount.
- Roberto Gallinat led the Tigers with 31 points on 10-of-18 shooting from the field.
- Pacific was held to 36.5 percent from the field, while LMU was 48.8 percent.
- Gallinat is 13th in the conference averaging 15 points per game. Lafayette Dorsey and Jahlil Tripp add 11 and 10.9 points per outing.
- Tripp is grabbing six boards and 2.9 assists a game. He is third in the league making 1.6 steals per game.

- Gonzaga is beating West Coast Conference opponents by an average of 28.4 points.
- The 2016-17 Zags own the conference record for scoring margin in league games at 26.2.
