- Fairleigh Dickinson beat Prairie View A&M in Tuesday's First Four, 82-76.
- Darnell Edge paced the Knights with a career-high 33 points. Jahlil Jenkins scored 20 of his 22 points in the second half to go along with six assists and four rebounds, while Kaleb Bishop and Mike Holloway Jr. each double-doubled. The duo each scored 10 points, while Holloway corralled 14 rebounds and Bishop nabbed 11.
- The Knights shot 68 percent (17-of-25) from the field in the second half.
- FDU suffered a 25-point home beatdown to St. Francis (Pa.) in mid-February, dropping to 12-13 on the season. But they've not lost since, rattling off nine straight wins (by an average of 13.5 points) en route to a share of the NEC regular-season title and the conference championship (which they won on St. Francis' home floor).
- The Knights win over Prairie View A&M was FDU's first-ever in the NCAA Tournament (1-5).
- All five FDU starters average double-figures; Kaleb Bishop (10.1 PPG, 6.3 RPG), Mike Holloway Jr. (12.5 PPG, 5.5 RPG, Xzavier Malone-Key (11.4 PPG, 3.9 RPG), Darnell Edge (16.4 PPG, 2.4 APG) and Jahlil Jenkins (13.5 PPG, 4.5 APG).
- First-team All-NEC selection Edge led the conference in 3-point shooting (46.9 percent) and knocked down more than three on eight occasions this season. The Knights went 7-1 in those games.
