Cassie Kim, who will join the GU squad this fall, continued her strong summer winning the team and individual titles at the Girls Junior Americas Cup in Murrieta, Ga.
Kim led the Washington squad to a co-championship with Hawaii, while also tying for the individual medalist honors with Lana Calibuso-Kwee of Hawaii at six-under for the 54-hole tournament. Played at the Bear Creek Golf Club, Kim was bolstered by a second-round 66 (-6) as her best round of the tournament.
Her three-player Washington Squad posted a six-over total for the three rounds, including a tournament best 211 in the second round.
Earlier this summer, Kim won the PNW Junior PGA, and also has stroke play titles at the 2017 PNGA Jr. Girls Championship and at the 2018 WJGA Eastern Open.
