TEANECK, N.J. – For the second straight game Gonzaga men's soccer got out to a 1-0, but Fairleigh Dickinson got three unanswered goals to take the 3-1 win on Sunday afternoon in Teaneck, N.J.
Gonzaga's
Theo O'Malley was able to put the Zags (0-4-0) on top with his first goal of the season in the 10
th minute, but that was it for GU on the scoreboards.
The Knights got a tying goal in the 32
nd minute, and after going into the half tied 1-1, they got two more in the first 15 minutes of the second half.
FDU (3-1-0) outshot Gonzaga 14-10 on the game, but the Zags had the edge in the second half 8-6.
Johan Garibay made three saves in net for Gonzaga.
