THE TIP OFF:
- Gonzaga and Loyola Marymount meet for the 96th time on Saturday in Los Angeles, at 1 p.m. GU has a 74-21 advantage in the series.
- The Zags have won 21 straight versus the Lions, and 25 of the last 26 meetings. The Lions last win in the series came on Feb. 18, 2010, 74-66, in L.A. The Bulldogs are 42-3 against Loyola Marymount under Mark Few.
- Gonzaga is 28-14 all-time at LMU and have won nine straight in L.A., including the latest matchup, a 73-60 Zag victory last season on Feb. 14.
- Gonzaga is coming off a 94-50 rout win at San Diego Thursday. GU led 53-16 at halftime. The 37-point halftime margin was the largest in the last 10 seasons for GU.
- The Bulldogs have won 34 straight conference road games, the longest streak by any Division I team over the last 30 seasons, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.
- Gonzaga's 30 straight regular season conference wins is currently the longest streak of its kind in the nation.
- The Zags are the lone team in the nation to have six players averaging double-digit scoring per game, with a seventh player at 9.2 points per outing.
- GU's 32 straight wins at home is the longest active streak in the nation, and fourth longest in program history.
- The Bulldogs' 13 consecutive true road wins is currently the longest active streak in the country.
- GU is first in the nation in scoring offense (87.9) and total assists (326), second in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.62) and scoring margin (20.3), third in total rebounds (741), and fourth in field goal percentage (50.1).
 
SERIES NOTES:
- This is the 96th all-time meeting between Gonzaga and Loyola Marymount. GU has a 74-21 advantage in the series.

- In last season's meeting in L.A., No. 3 Gonzaga closed the game with a 20-6 run to beat Loyola Marymount 73-60. Rui Hachimura led Gonzaga with 22 points and Brandon Clarke added 17 points and 12 rebounds.
- The Zags won the first all-time meeting between the programs, 75-71, in Spokane in 1953.
 
SCOUTING THE LIONS:
- Loyola Marymount is coming off of a 63-38 loss at BYU last Saturday. The Lions scored a season-low 38 points after totaling 19 points in each half. Eli Scott led LMU with 15 points. Jonathan Dos Anjos grabbed a career-high eight rebounds. The Lions committed a season-high 21 turnovers, leading to 20 BYU points. Comparatively, in the previous win over San Diego, LMU's turnover count was a season-best six.
- Scott averages a team-high 16.1 points and 6.4 per game. He also has dished out a team-best 75 assists. Ivan Alipiev adds 10.8 points per outing.
 
A ZAG WIN WOULD ...
- Extend the nation's fourth-longest active win streak to 10.
- Improve the nation's current longest road win streak to 14.
- Extend the Bulldogs' conference regular season win streak to 31 victories.
- Improve the national best conference road win streak to 35.
- Be GU's 20th consecutive road win over an unranked team.
- Make Gonzaga 147-17 in January games under Mark Few.
- Be the 14th straight victory in the month of January.
 
FAST START IN SAN DIEGO:
- Gonzaga jumped out to big leads in its win at San Diego.
- The Zags led 20-5. Then 32-10. Then 46-14. Then 53-16 at halftime. GU's 37-point halftime lead was the largest in the last 10 seasons for the Bulldogs.
- Gonzaga outrebounded USD 47-27. Points in the paint: Gonzaga 52, USD 18. Fast break points: Gonzaga 24, USD 3.
- Eleven Zags scored in the victory, with four finishing in double-digits.

- Since the 2005-06 season, Gonzaga is 211-65 in road or neutral games. The Zags' 76.3-win percentage in road or neutral games tops the nation over that span.
- Also since the 2007-08 season, the Zags are 102-25 in true road games. GU's 80.2-win pct. in true road games is best in the nation over that span.
- The Bulldogs have won 34 straight WCC games on the road, the longest active streak in the country. GU's last loss to a conference opponent on the road was at Saint Mary's, 70-67, on Jan. 21, 2016.
- The last time Gonzaga lost to a WCC opponent that was not BYU or Saint Mary's was on Feb. 22, 2014, at San Diego.
- The Zags have won 46 of their last 47 road games in conference play. Since 2014-15, GU is 44-1 in WCC road games.
- If you include the WCC Tournament, GU has won 60 of their last 63 road or neutral league contests.

- Gonzaga is the only program in the nation with six players averaging double-digit scoring, with a seventh averaging 9.2 points per game.
- Six different Zags have already led the team in scoring in a game this season.
- Eight Bulldogs have already had multiple double-digit scoring games, with six GU players reaching 20 points this season.
- Six Gonzaga players averaging at least four rebounds per outing, and four dishout at least two assists per game.
