THE TIP OFF:
- Gonzaga and Pacific meet for the 18th time on Saturday in the McCarthey Athletic Center, at 7 p.m. GU owns a 16-1 advantage in the series.
- The Zags have won the last 14 matchups in the series. GU has won all six meetings in Spokane. The Tigers lone victory in the series came in 1976.
- The Bulldogs are coming off of a 92-69 home win over BYU Saturday. Killian Tillie had 22 points and 10 rebounds.
- GU is 6-0 in WCC play for the fourth straight season.
- Gonzaga's 33 straight regular season conference wins is currently the longest streak of its kind in the nation, and a new WCC record (Pepperdine '91-'93 won 32 straight).
- The Zags are the lone team in the nation to have six players averaging double-digit scoring per game.
- Gonzaga is the first team in the nation to reach 20 wins this season. The Bulldogs have reached 20 wins in a season for the 23rd straight season.
- The Bulldogs have the country's third-longest win streak currently at 12 consecutive victories.
- GU's 34 straight wins at home is the longest active streak in the nation, and fourth longest in program history.
- The Bulldogs' 14 consecutive true road wins is currently the longest active streak in the country. Gonzaga has won 35 straight conference road wins.
- GU is first in the nation in scoring offense (88.8), scoring margin (22.0) and total assists (382), second in total rebounds (872), and third in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.63) and rebound margin (10.0), and fourth in field goal percentage (50.6), and fifth in assists per game (18.2).
 
SERIES NOTES:
- This is the 18th all-time meeting between GU and Pacific.
- The Zags have won 16 of the previous 17 matchups in the series, including the last 14 straight.
- Gonzaga has won all six meetings in Spokane, and all six have been inside the McCarthey Athletic Center.
- The Bulldogs are 14-0 against Pacific under Mark Few.
- In the latest meeting, GU won at Pacific, 86-66, last season on Feb. 28. Brandon Clarke had 21 points, 13 rebounds and four blocks. Rui Hachimura added 27 points and Zach Norvell Jr. scored 12.
- The Tigers lone victory in the series came in Stockton in 1976, 70-60.
- In last season's meeting in Spokane, the Zags rolled to a 67-36 win. Josh Perkins led Gonzaga with 14 points and six assists. Zach Norvell Jr. added 11 points.
- The Zags edged Pacific, 85-83, in the first-ever meeting in Stockton on Feb. 5, 1959.
 
SCOUTING THE TIGERS:
- After winning its first two conference games, Pacific has fell in three of its last four since the opening week. The Tigers are coming off of a 74-60 loss at home to BYU.
- Against BYU Thursday, Jahlil Tripp scored 18 points and 10 rebounds for the Tigers.
- Tripp averages a team-high 15.5 points per game and 8.4 rebounds per game. He is shooting 52 percent from the field.
- Pacific boasts the top defense in the WCC, only allowing 64.2 points per game to opponents. It also possesses the conference's best field goal percentage defense, holding their counterparts to shooting just 40.3 percent from the floor.
 
A ZAG WIN WOULD ...
- Extend the nation's third-longest active win streak to 13.
- Improve the nation's current longest home win streak to 35.
- Extend the Bulldogs' conference regular season win streak to 34 victories.
- Be the 17th straight win at home over a WCC opponent.
- Be the 31st straight victory at home over an unranked foe.
- Make Gonzaga 150-17 in January games under Mark Few.
- Be the 17th straight victory in the month of January.
 
KISPERT NAMED WCC PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
- Gonzaga's Corey Kispert was named the West Coast Conference Player of the Week.
- Kispert averaged 17.5 points on 50 percent shooting from the field during last week's two weeks.
- The junior made seven of his 12 three-point attempts (58.3 percent) and six of his seven shots from the free-throw line (85.7 percent). He grabbed eight rebounds during the week, and dished out three assists.
- Against BYU Saturday, Kispert scored 19 points and made four-three pointers.
- Kispert is currently 10th in the WCC averaging 14.4 points per game. His 53 made three-pointers this season ranks second in the conference.

- The GU coaching staff will once again participate in the nationwide Coaches vs. Cancer Suits And Sneakers Week.
- The Zags' staff will wear sneakers in the game against Pacific on Jan. 25.
